Could not love this show more

I’ve been following various personal finance people for 7-8ish years now (my fave is Ramit Sethi), and IG put a reel in front of me that was Katie explaining how we are essentially being *forced* to understand money and investing these days. Because for those who don’t, there is zero safety net for our older years and zero other ways to (somewhat) guarantee an ability to afford medical care and basic needs like housing. Essentially she explained that capitalism creates more capitalism and forces us to make decisions for individual self preservation, and that we need to keep in mind that investing is a must, but it is not a way to build true community safety and security. I was SOLD. I’m not explaining it nearly as eloquently as Katie did, but I instantly subscribed to this podcast, and have learned a lot since, and I appreciate this whole society perspective so very much.
